RJI’s End-of-the-year Global Advisory Council meeting (Dec. 23, 2024)

RJI shares this virtual 2024 end-of-the-year meeting with our Global Advisory Council (GAC). The GAC (partial) met on December 13, 2024 at 4pm Pacific with members joining in from around the world. Esteemed members participating include Martin Howard (Australia), Austin Stack (Ireland), Helen Bowen (New Zealand), Paulo Moratelli (Brazil), David Love (PA., U.S.), Don John Omale (Nigeria), Jane Bolitho (Australia), Jonathan Peter Clayton (South Africa), and RJI President Lisa Rea moderating.

During this call each reported on his/her work in the field of restorative justice, justice reform, and human rights. RJI President Lisa Rea presented a brief overview of RJI works in 2024.

The GAC conversation is in-depth, stimulating, and thought provoking. Restorative justice applies to our criminal justice systems but the principles of restorative justice can also apply to the affairs of nations. Restorative justice’s foundation is true justice, and truth telling–critical to all democracies.

For more information on the GAC find “About Us” on our website which includes the full GAC with bios.

RJI wishes you a merry Christmas, happy holidays, and a new year in 2025 that is filled with peace, and more restorative justice for all nations.
