RJI’s Testimony: Australian Standing Committee–Child Abuse, Institutional abuse (June 2018)
June 5, 2018
RJI has submitted new written testimony to the Australian Standing Committee on Community Affairs regarding
the following legislation: Commonwealth Redress Scheme for Institutional Child Abuse Bill 2017 and consequential
amendments. The committee has accepted our testimony and it is now public.
This is RJI’s second written submission since the legislation was introduced. We continue to stand firm for
victims of abuse by supporting victims-driven restorative justice in all cases which includes clergy abuse.
See item #5 in the link provided which will take you to our testimony. If you are interested in supporting us or working
