Victim Initiated Restorative Justice (VIRJ)
RJI has launched Victim Initiated Restorative Justice (VIRJ). Contact us via this website if you are a crime victim/survivor interested in exploring restorative justice.
Restorative justice dialogues can occur at any time after you have been injured by crime. RJI believes there should be no statute of limitations on restorative justice. Healing and restoration, on whatever level, should always be an option for crime victims. Offenders also need to make things right, as much as possible, with their victims. Through this process lives are changed. RJI is committed to open the doors wide for crime victims so that restorative justice is a “right.”
If you would like to explore restorative justice contact us. We will either work with you directly or connect you with others who can assist you. RJI can also connect you with crime victims who have chosen restorative justice for themselves.
RJI is an association advocating for victims-driven restorative justice in the U.S. and around the globe. Support us directly through contributing to our work. Thank you.
