Worldwide justice systems are concluding that restorative justice that is victims-driven provides greater satisfaction to crime victims after crime occurs. Offenders are more likely to be held accountable after crime if restorative justice processes are used. Not only is restorative justice cost effective but it allows more healing in the lives of crime victims, transforms offenders after crime by allowing them to take responsibility for their actions, and involves communities in the process. Restorative justice is the future.
