Victim of Violent Crime Supports Restorative Justice

Victims of violent crime are increasingly asking for restorative justice. Is the justice system opening the doors to allow victims to participate in restorative justice? Restorative justice which is victims-driven and centered increases victims’ satisfaction while holding offenders accountable for their crimes in ways that can benefit crime victims. Communities also injured by crime are more involved in their justice systems through restorative justice processes.
