RJI welcomes Hans Barendrecht as our special guest on our newest podcast. Hans is the Chief Executive Officer of Prison Fellowship Netherlands (Gevangenenzsorg Nederland). He has served in this capacity since 1995. Trained as a lawyer at the court of appeals in the Hague Hans this year celebrates 25 years with the nongovernmental organization. PF Netherlands is considered one of the leading NGOs for the care of prisoners and their families in Europe and particularly supportive of restorative justice programming.
Lisa and Hans talk about their unusual and intensive meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1999 when they both attended Prison Fellowship International’s Convocation.
