We support the efforts of justice systems worldwide moving towards restorative justice to open doors for healing and restoration, as much as possible, of crime victims and communities while urging offender accountability.
Restorative justice processes can be adapted to the needs of crime victms and communities. By holding offenders accountability offenders change and recidivism rates drop. RJI strongly supports victims-driven and victims-centered restorative justice. This is truly smart on crime. It is the future.
