Restorative justice must hold offenders accountable but in ways that allow crime victims, and communities, to heal and experience
some type of restoration. Investing in restorative justice is an investment in the lives of offenders giving offenders a chance to change and not
re-offend again. Restorative justice processes should include the crime victim directly and seek to restore that victim after injury occurred.
