Not only is restorative justice a way to teach students how to resolve conflict of any kind with teachers it is

also important that they learn how to respond to conflict and tension between themselves and other students. The

suspension of students for minor infractions should not be the only option and it is not. That is why using restorative

justice principles can guide school administrators and teachers by giving students the tools they need to respond to

conflict. Students and teachers learn that there is a better way.
